Hello
My name is Natalia María Lentino. I am a dedicated scholar trained at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. My primary focus lies in the exploration of philosophy, particularly decolonial thought and the profound insights of Argentine philosopher Rodolfo Kusch.
My Story
Through my work as a popular educator, I have had the privilege of coordinating diverse projects that draw from Kuschian philosophy within the multidisciplinary collective known as Cafetín.
This collective, aptly named after Kusch’s theatrical homage to the tango composer Enrique Santos Discépolo, serves as a vibrant platform for philosophical dialogue and community engagement.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I embrace the names bestowed upon me by my friends in Gaza: Natalia María Biesan Yafa Lentino.
These names carry deep significance, serving as a poignant reminder of the soil that nurtures and sustains us—their soil, which resonates with the essence of community and the richness of shared memory.
The incorporation of these names into my identity epitomizes the power of “we,” highlighting the interconnectedness that binds us through collective experience and solidarity.
In this spirit, I continue to engage in endeavors that promote philosophical inquiry, foster communal bonds, and honor the legacies of thought that challenge dominant narratives. My journey is not merely an academic pursuit; it is a commitment to cultivating a deeper understanding of our world, one that recognizes and values the diverse voices that contribute to the tapestry of human experience.
